its amazing what the lead of a pencil can decide.
i liked this girl way back in 9th grade who had a boyfriend, but one of those girls that had some strange allurance about them that made you fall for her. i wanted to impress her, adn show her what i could do...
fuck... this is going to be terribly written.
that sketch was done for her because she made me start practicing drawing. i mean, its more because i had a huge crush on her freshman year than anything, but i wanted to impress her, and the only real talent i had was drawing. but up to that point in life id never been any good... i sorta just did art because i liked it and it was fun... but you made me get better. it sounds dumb now, but when i handed it to you and you said you loved it, id found a passion. i kept with drawing and started learning more, and after a while i moved on from you and lost the crush i held, but i kept what you gave to me. and now im majoring in the field... hah. im glad i had that crush on you in the end.
that sketch of a simple rose that i could barely trace out onto the paper... i almost gave up doing it taht night, and i tremble to wonder how different things would be if i had... it looked terrible. i know that much, but you love it for some reason. you loved it before i even told you the tremendous impact that it had on my life.
i didnt even realize taht it was so important until recently either. i thought back one day in art history about it...and it knocked the wind out of me for a bit. it was amazing to realize that. people wonder why i like her... and i do too, sometimes, but shes one of those girls you adore for her mind, but shes still gorgeous.
i want her to get over this breakup. i want so much, but i know so little will probably happen... unless i want it to happen,
